Terms

Plain-language messaging terms · 2026-06-18
These terms are written to be read. If a consent rule, a retention window or a handoff promise is unclear, that is our problem to fix, not yours to decode.

01  Consent and outreach

A school may message you only on a channel you consented to, and only with content of the kind you agreed to. An opt-out applies everywhere at once. Quiet hours and approved-template rules are enforced by the system, not left to a sender's judgement.

02  The helper and handoff

Zuci answers from facts a school has authorised. It is a helper, not a decision-maker: a person's concern is handed to a person, and Zuci will not quote a figure — such as a fee — that is not in an authorised source. You can ask for a human at any point.

03  Conversations and records

A conversation is kept for a stated retention window so a school can serve you and meet its records duty, then cleared. You can request your transcript. Internal staff notes on a thread are not part of what you receive, but they are never sold or used to advertise to you.

04  Honesty about limits

When the office is closed, the widget says so and offers a callback rather than pretending. When a connection is weak, a lite mode keeps the basics working. When something is outside what we can answer, we say so and bring in a person — we would rather under-promise than mislead a guardian.
