Widget

A small, friendly widget that reads Hindi, takes a voice note, and never gets in the way.

Drop one short script on a school's site or app and a guardian can ask a question in the language they actually use. It stays light, brandable and quiet — it is a way to talk, not a pop-up that nags.

A real conversation shape

Here is how a thread reads

An illustrative exchange — the live widget loads behind the same shape. Notice where it hands off: the moment the question is about one child, a person from the school office picks it up.

Class 6 admission window kab tak hai?
Zuci
Class 6 admissions are open till 30 June. Documents needed: birth certificate, last report card, two photos. Want the full checklist?
Haan, aur meri beti ke result ke baare mein baat karni thi
Zuci
Your daughter’s result is a personal matter, so I’m bringing in a person from the school office now — they can see her record and help properly.
Anita · front desk
Hello! This is Anita from the front desk. I have your daughter’s file open — happy to walk through it with you.
What the widget does

Made for how people here message

Six things the widget is built around — each one a reality of a guardian on a phone in the evening, not a feature for a slide.

🪶
Light by default
The loader is a small, cacheable script — bytes cost paise on a phone plan, so we keep it small. It loads on a slow evening connection and falls back to a lite mode on 2G.
🎨
Brandable
It wears the school's name, colours and logo from the shared theme, so a guardian sees the school they trust — not a third-party badge stapled to the corner.
🗣️
Hindi & Hinglish first
It auto-reads the language of the message. A guardian can type 'fees kitni h class 6 ki' and be understood — Roman Hindi is a first-class input, not an afterthought.
🎙️
Voice-note input
A lot of people would rather speak than type. The widget takes a voice note and works with it, because that is how a phone is really used at home.
🕐
Office hours & callback
When the school office is closed, the widget says so honestly and offers a callback in the morning — a kept promise, not a chatbot pretending the desk is open.
📶
Works on a weak signal
A lite mode keeps the basics working when the connection is thin, so a question still gets through from a town with one bar of signal.

About the widget

The loader is a short, cacheable script kept deliberately small, and the rest streams in only when a guardian opens the chat. It is built to add as little as we can to a page that may load on a slow connection.
